On a cross country drive way back when, a thunderstorm hit just a little east of Rapid City, South Dakota. And suddenly the road was full of frogs -- FULL of them. They seemed to be falling from the sky. We couldn't help running over what must have been hundreds, and pulled into the first rest stop we saw to stop the carnage. Under the awnings of the rest area, more frogs (the brighter ones, I guess), dozens, waiting patiently for the storm to end.
